Deleting Your Nakul Account

📱🗑️ In-app deletion (quickest way)

To delete your Nakul account from inside the app:

  1. Open the Nakul app.

  2. Tap 👤 Profile (My Profile).

  3. Tap ⚙️ Account Management.

  4. Tap 🛑 Proceed to Delete Account.

  5. ✅ Confirm the deletion when prompted.

After you confirm in the app, we will verify your request using the account details already on file and begin processing. 


⚠️ Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once your account is deleted we cannot recover your profile or in-app data.


 

✉️ Email option (alternative)

If you cannot access the app, you may request deletion by email:

  1. Send an email to support@nakul.app with the subject line Account Deletion Request.

  2. In the email, include the following information so we can verify and process your request:

    • 📝 Full name (as shown in your Nakul account)

    • 📧 Email address associated with your Nakul account

    • 📱 Phone number associated with your Nakul account

We will reply if we need anything further to verify your identity.


⏳ Processing time & irreversibility

  • Account deletion requests are processed within up to 7 days from the time we verify the request.

  • ⚠️ Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once your account is deleted we cannot recover your profile or in-app data.

 

🗃️ What is deleted

When your Nakul account is deleted, we remove the following from active systems:

  • 👤 Personal account details (name, email, phone number)

  • 📝 Profile information stored in your Nakul account

  • 📦 In-app content tied to your account (preferences, saved items, messages)


🛡️ What may be retained (and retention period)

Some limited information may be retained after account deletion for legal, tax, compliance, safety, or business continuity reasons. This may include:

  • 💼 Legal or financial transaction records (if applicable) required by law

  • 🗂️ Logs and backups needed for fraud prevention, security investigations, or to comply with legal obligations

Retention periods vary depending on the record type and legal requirements. Unless otherwise required by law, retained records are typically kept only as long as necessary and may be retained for up to 7 years where applicable or as required by law.
